Pastor Ray Mitchell
Senior Pastor

South New Milford Baptist Church has been an integral part of Pastor Ray and Lisa Mitchell’s life for many years. Lisa grew up in our church and they met here in the Spring of 1983 and were married the following year.

God has blessed them with three grown children (Felicia, Katie, and Tim [Melissa]) and three grandchildren (David, Madison, and Jackson).

Pastor Mitchell has the desire to reach out to people in our community and to welcome them into our church where people from all walks of life come to know God through a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He also desires to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus and in their knowledge of the Bible in order that they will want to become life-long followers of Jesus. 

Pastor Mitchell believes that Jesus offers to His followers the way to the most satisfying life possible. This is the life that we want the faith community of South New Milford Baptist Church to experience!

Pastor Kevin Radford
Outreach Pastor

Pastor Kevin and his wife Amy come to South New Milford Baptist Church from New York State, where they also both grew up in the Syracuse area. Pastor Kevin’s love for technology and good coffee are exceeded by his love for God and the gospel. He completed his ministry education at Word of Life Bible Institute, Tennessee Temple University and Baptist Bible Seminary.

Amy spent a majority of her childhood at Camp BaYouCa. That is where Kevin and Amy met as teenagers and were married there in 2001. Amy enjoys teaching and writing, but her biggest role is being Mom to Jack and Emma.

As a family they enjoy camping and the outdoors, or relaxing at home with a bowl of popcorn and a good superhero movie.

Pastor Mike Eaton
Family Ministries Pastor

Family is important to Pastor Mike and Katie. He grew up in a broken home who did not know or follow Christ while Katie’s parents are solid believers, served in the local church regularly and are still together.  The Word of Life Bible Institute is where God orchestrated them to meet one another, pointed them to raise a family and to serve in full time ministry.  Church is where they see and experience that families grow the most “in Christ!”

Pastor Mike has served in full-time ministry since 1997.  God has raised up in him a desire to see people know Christ, grow in Christ and to show Christ to others. Their family motto is “Ministry is where you put your shoes on!”  So, when you get a chance to meet Pastor Mike, Katie, and their kids…there is no shortage of excitement, passion and a welcome-to-our-family attitude.
